Helps suppliers of paving and outdoor surfaces sell what customers cannot yet picture. A customer starts with a photo of their own space or a product up close, tries finishes and laying patterns, compares before and after, and keeps the design to discuss.
The need
Paving is bought on imagination. A customer stands in a showroom with a sample in hand and has to picture a whole courtyard or driveway. That is exactly where the conversation stalls and the enquiry turns vague. Surface Studio gives both sides something concrete to talk about.
What we built
- Start with a photo of the customer's own space, or explore a product up close.
- Outline the surface, align the paving to the perspective and protect objects in front.
- Try finishes, shapes and laying patterns from the catalogue, and compare before and after with a slider.
- Explore products in 3D and view them in AR on a supported phone.
- Keep the design: download it, or save and share it and ask for a conversation.
- English and Arabic in one interface, right-to-left included.
- An admin area for the sales team: leads, availability, analytics and roles.
How a customer uses it
- Choose a starting point: their photo, or a product.
- Shape the look: outline, align, then pick colours, shapes and patterns.
- Decide with confidence: compare, keep the design, and talk to the supplier.
Under the hood
A modern web application with its own API and admin area, a configurable catalogue of finishes and patterns, phone verification for saved designs, e-mail delivery, monitoring and backups, served behind Cloudflare. Light works on one surface; Full handles up to five in a single photo.
Made for suppliers
Each supplier gets the application with their own brand, catalogue and languages. The same product can be configured for a new client without starting over.
